Introducing the Sony XBR52HX909 this is the Sony version of 3D LED HDTV. This year has brought about a transformation of HD LED 3D TVs and all of the manufacturers are scrambling to get in on the game. Sony has now brought their version of 3D LED HDTV up to standard. Because this TV is so new there are not a lot of reviews out, but if you are a Sony fan you will probably like it.

This TV comes with something called 3D1 which means it is 3D compatible. Before the flat Plasma and LED TVs became popular, there used to be a high end picture tube TV that had a black picture tube, which was supposed to get the blackest of blacks. Well the quality of this TV surpasses that with the blackest of blacks and the whitest of whites. What this means is a clear brilliant picture quality in full HD 1080p, which is the highest resolution currently possible. It also features the BRAVIA engine, which Sony fans know delivers an amazing viewing experience.

Another cool feature is Internet video. Just think instantly streaming movies and other media from the Internet. Sure it’s been possible to stream from the Internet for a long time, but the difficulty of set-up and equipment cost used to be prohibitive. With this TV everything is built in and set up for you. You can also connect to current digital media using a Wi-Fi adapter or the built in USB port. As you can see media possibilities are endless with this awesome TV.

Do you have a hard drive media player or a PS3 this Sony 3D HD LED TV is also DLNA compatible so you can get streaming media from any other DLNA device even your PC. Have you ever wondered what your vacation photos would look like in 3D? After all that was how they looked when you took them. Just get out your trusty remote control 7 and with a click of a button your 2D media will become 3D.

A great way to enjoy all of the latest in Blu-ray titles is to be sure to have a TV that can take advantage of all of these features. If you want the highest resolution available you will want full HD 1080p which this Sony has. Do you want a clear but fluid picture during fast action sequences? You get that too with Sony’s advanced motion flow technology.

Each frame comes with exceptional color contrast and is as clear as possible using Intelligent Image Enhancer technology. If 3D is what you are interested in, all you need to do is plug in your IR emitter to your HD 3D LED TV, and sync it with your Sony 3D shutter glasses.

This is a great TV if you can afford it. If you are just browsing there is no harm, no foul, in waiting until the industry standard is more stabilized and price points begin to come down. Although you would be the person with the coolest Super Bowl party not to mention having this TV would just be a lot of fun.

As HDTV technology advances, we have come to expect faster, better, and sleeker gear with every new generation of technology. But, one aspect of the technology has been noticeably lagging: all those ugly wires sticking out the back of the set! With the new Bravia XBR10, Sony has taken a big step toward a wireless world.

First of all, the XBR10 has incorporated all the expected improvements from the previous XBR models. These include:

* An increased contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.
* Edge-lit LED backlight to allow the thinnest possible screen. The only disadvantage to the edge-lit LED system is that local dimming (turning the backlight completely off in certain areas of the screen, to enhance contrast) is more difficult to achieve.
* 240Hz frame rate (also known as Motionflow). This boosts the smoothness of the picture and, because of the mechanics involved, allows 3D video to work smoothly as well.
* USB input for showing digital photos. This seems like a minor feature, but is surprisingly lacking on many state of the art HDTV sets.
* 3D capability- using the new shutter-style glasses, you can watch 3D movies in full color, at full resolution, and with full smoothness, owing to the 240Hz frame rate. The days of muted colors and funny looking cellophane glasses are gone.

To eliminate the tangle of wires coming out the back of the set, Sony has integrated a receiver into the set that gets signals, even 1080p video, from a separate media box. The only thing coming out of the set itself will be the power cord.

Nokia seems to be bucking the trend with its newest C-5 model, which resembles an iPhone, at least the screen. And it appears to be an instant hit with cell phone and smart phone consumers. With the C, E, X, N series devices, Nokia is able to deliver the right personal tech at the right price to each and every user, from the low end to the high-end techno geek and early adopter. The C-5 model is not the top of the line phone, although it looks it, and it’s not anywhere near the bottom either. It’s more like middle of the road phone with the right lines and the right look for the right price.

The phone has highspeed packet access for data transfer, which is nice, and it takes very detailed and high-resolution pictures with over a 15 GB hard drive. It is not yet available in the US, but the company is selling them like hot cakes on pre-orders to their dealer networks in Africa, Middle East, Asia and Europe. The phone has the ability to use Google and Microsoft email, and instant messaging services. It is obvious Nokia wants no part of the brand war, only wants to sell a ton of phones. But will they you ask?

Could be, as it sells for about $180 and it is fully integrated for the social networking teen, able to use all the applications on Facebook and Myspace, as well as several other foreign social networking websites. Nokia is delivering what the people want, and Nokia cell phone smart phone technology has found niches to exploit as Apple, Google, and others look for a way to the end-all-be-all to all users. Nokia is doing well in the market place and their profits in 2009-2010 seem to indicate that the consumers are pleased.

It would be very hard to debate that Nokia will be the leader in handset sales in 2010, as they cleared over a billion in profit in 2009, and sold some 1.83 million phones. Some believe that HTC is going to rock their world in coming years, but it’s doubtful if that will happen this year. Nokia has things going on, and thus, it does pay to check out which phones in their line of smart phone models fit your fancy, that is if you are presently in the market for a new cellphone. Please consider all this as you do your online cellphone shopping in 2010.
